Ebook/Reading databases: An Overview

Navigating the eBook Collection (EBSCO) Database

Now for this example, let's say we want to search the eBook Collection (EBSCO) for a book on dogs. We would input the following:

1. Type in search box: dogs

2. Limit your results: Full Text

3. Click the Search button

Now, let's say we are interested in the book titled Dog Groomer: Beautifying Man's Best Friend. We can click on the Access Now (eBook) to view the complete book.

Now over on the left is the ebook. One the right is the table of contents. Highlighted in yellow and above the table of contents are tool options. These include the citation information (indicated by the quotation marks) and the share option (indicated by an arrow pointing to the right). There is also the option to search within the ebook (indicated by the magnifying glass), to listen to the ebook (indicated by the megaphone), and to request accessibility support, if needed (indicated by the person in the circle).
