Cryptozoology is the study of animals that are not recognized by mainstream science, focusing on the potential existence of creatures referred to as cryptids. This field encompasses both legendary beings, such as Sasquatch and the Loch Ness Monster, and the search for living populations of species thought to be extinct, like certain dinosaurs.
