RN to BSN program at Polk State College

RN to BSN Program

The Department of Education has approved for Polk State College to offer a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) program and classes began in August 2011. Application for NLNAC accreditation is pending review. Courses are delivered in hybrid format with a few class meetings per term or complete online alternative. The RN to BSN program provides registered nurses who have an Associate degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing from an approved program the opportunity to advance in their educational and career goals. Upper-level coursework places emphasis on nursing leadership and professional development to strengthen skills to professionally and safely deliver evidenced-based care.
