Using the BOX method to Multiply
- There are many techniques used to multiply polynomials.
- For instance, if multiplying 2 binomials a method called FOIL is sometimes used.
- An alternate method (using a BOX) is sometimes easier for students to follow.
NOTE: This technique employs the distributive property of multiplication.
