## Factoring trinomials with a coefficient of 1

- This video is the first step to learning how to factor trinomials.

- We start off with a relatively easy one, which has a coefficient of 1.

x2 − 5x + 6

**NOTE: **The coefficient of a term is the number in front of the variable. If there is no number, it's assumed to be 1.
