NUR 4775 - Evidence Based Practices: Finding Books & eBooks

This course allows students to investigate compelling questions, evaluate current evidence, assess trends in patient outcomes, and propose feasible studies to foster the practice of evidence-based quality care.

Polk State Libraries have a rich collection of over 100,000 print titles & 100,000 eBook titles for Academic research & leisure reading purposes. The following videos will teach you how to search this vast collection effectively & efficiently.

  • As a student at Polk, you will need your Student ID card to check out materials (There is no limit to how many books you can check out).
  • Check-Out periods are 3 weeks long & are renewable (Renew 3 ways: Online, by phone call, & in person).
  • eBooks can be viewed on phones/tablets & computers (Require you to log in to your library account).
