Welcome to the LibGuide for Professor Fitzgerald's LIT1000 course. This guide will provide information and resources for the play "A Doll's House" by Henrik Ibsen.
Henrik Ibsen is a major Norwegian playwright of the late 19th century who introduced to the European stage a new order of moral analysis that was placed against a severely realistic middle-class background and developed with economy of action, penetrating dialogue, and rigorous thought. He wrote quite a number of plays and poems, one of which is "A Doll's House".
