Google Scholar is a search engine for scholarly material but it has its limitations. You can set preferences in Google Scholar so that it will link to the Polk State College Library databases.
Google cannot find all of the information available online. The information on the invisible web -- or the parts of the web that Google's search crawlers cannot access -- is best accessed through the Library's catalog and databases.
1. Click on the Settings icon to link Google Scholar to the Polk State College Library databases.
2. Click Library links on the left.
3. On the next screen, type in Polk State College.
4. Select the box for Polk State College and click Save.
Now you can see results from the Library databases!
