Ferguson's Career Guidance Center is one of Polk State's career databases. It is a comprehensive research tool providing detailed and up-to-date profiles of more than 2,900 of today's most popular jobs in 93 industries. To gain access, you will need to login to your Library account by using the same credentials you use to access your PASSPORT account.

The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity promotes economic opportunities for all Floridians. This resources provides information such as employment and wages - current employment, projections, and wages by industry and occupation, occupational profiles, and career information specifically for the state of Florida.

 

 

     

Occupational Outlook Handbook (OOH)

The Occupational Outlook Handbook (OOH) is a career resource offering information on the hundreds of occupations that provide most of jobs in the United States. Each occupational profile describes the typical duties performed by the occupation, the work environment of that occupation, the typical education and training needed to enter the occupation, the median pay for workers in the occupation, and the job outlook over the coming decade for that occupation.
