In this research paper, identify best practices and strategies for the teaching and integration of writing across all curricular areas. Think about ways you will be able to implement these strategies, including what grade level(s) would be appropriate for each strategy and how you could adapt the strategy to serve the ELL/ESE learner. Topics will include the developmental stages of writing, the writing process, writing conventions, writing in the content areas, and writing about reading. In the Instructional Implications section, discuss difficulties that may face an educator as they work on integrating writing. Make sure your report is thoughtful and well documented.

Each database has different preferred terms for how articles are indexed. These are just a few of the terms from the thesaurus in the ERIC database. It is often more useful to do a broad search and then look at relevant results and see what subject terms are being used, rather than to create a complex search initially. It can also be helpful to keep track of what terms you used and which databases you searched.
