What you need to know

Things you may need at other libraries:

  • A library card for that library or library system.
  • Your Polk State student or employee ID card.
  • Correct change or denomination of bills for copying and/or printing.
  • Your own headphones.

Some libraries may be closed to public use. Call ahead to find out the rules. Polk State College has reciprocal borrowing with USF or any Florida State University System library. This means you can travel to any SUS library and borrow materials. Your official student or employee ID is required. Materials from local private colleges may be acquired through Interlibrary Loan.

Polk State College students or employees choosing to use other libraries should always inquire directly as to the use policies of individual libraries.
