THINGS YOU MAY NEED AT OTHER LIBRARIES:
Some libraries may be closed to public use. Call ahead to find out the rules. Polk State College has reciprocal borrowing with the USF or any Florida State University System library. This means you can travel to any SUS library and borrow materials. Your official student or employee ID is required. Materials from local private colleges may be acquired through Interlibrary Loan.
Polk State College students or employees choosing to use other libraries should always inquire directly as to the use policies of individual libraries. Polk State is not responsible for any financial obligation of any Polk State College student or employee resulting from their use of libraries outside of the college. The Polk State Libraries do recognize the need for reciprocity between libraries regarding the recovery of lost or stolen library materials. We cooperate fully with libraries at their request. Please be mindful of the rules in place at other libraries.
