Arts and Humanities Databases: An Overview

This guide provides a general overview of the Arts and Humanities databases offered by Polk State College Libraries.

Searching in Art & Architecture Source

When searching Art and Humanities topics, you might want to search in more than one database because the topic is interdisciplinary. EBSCO, the platform that hosts Art & Architecture Source, allows us to do this. For example, let's say we are looking at art education in schools. We might want to search other databases, such as education databases and general databases.

We can start by inputting in our search terms and then clicking the database name (Art & Architecture Source) just above the search bars.

Here is why these databases were selected:

Academic Search Complete: A general academic database covering a lot of topics

Education Source and ERIC: Two education databases

Now we will add our limits and click search

Here are the results! Click on Access Options to view the full text. Save time by reading the article's abstract first (if it's available) and then the full text.
