Logging In

STUDENTS:  The Borrower ID is your student ID (A12345678) and the PIN is the last four numbers of your student ID (5678).  

FACULTY AND STAFF:  The Borrower ID is your college assigned personnel identification number (PID) and your PIN is also your PID number.  The PIN must be four characters in length.  Use leading zeros if your PID is less than four digits.

Method 1:  Login to your PASSPORT account (see below).  Click the PAL link.  This should take you directly to PAL.

Method 2:  From the Polk State Homepage, click the PAL link at the top.  Sign-in to PAL as per below:

Username: Your email username (i.e. jdoe2)


If you have trouble logging in to PAL, accessing your course(s), or need your password reset, call the Student Technical Help Desk at 863-298-6839 during normal college operating hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

The Student Help Desk is closed during college holidays.


STUDENTS Login is your Polk State student ID or Social security number.  The default PIN is the two digit month and two digit year of your birth, i.e. 0191 if you were born in January 1991.

If your password does not work, call 863-297-1000 during normal business hours and ask to reset your PASSPORT password.
FACULTY/STAFF:  Login using your Polk State network staff login.


Polk State College Email

What's my email username?  To find out, login to PASSPORT with your student ID and PIN.  Your Polk email address will appear in the My Details section of PASSPORT and will conform to your email account name.

Find your assigned email address on Passport. Go to , login using the address provided in Passport, and your student ID as the password.

Resetting Passwords for PAL or Polk Email

To reset the Password for your PAL or Polk State College Email account call 863-298-6839 during normal college office hours.
