Library books and other materials eligible for loan may be transfered to Airside for you to borrow. To request materials
1. Using the LINCC Online Catalog, locate the record for the item you wish to borrow
2. Click on the "Available at ....." link
3. If the item is "Available" for loan, click the Request link
4. Log on using your Polk State College student ID for borrower ID (capitalize the letter) and the last four digits of that number as your PIN
5. Set Lakeland as the pick-up campus and type the word AIRSIDE in the note box
6. Click "GO" to submit your request.
It can take up to three work days to transfer materials from Winter Haven to Airside.
Polk State College students can request books and other eligble materials designated as "available" for interlibrary borrowing from any of the 28 Florida College System colleges using the LINCC Online Catalog. Follow the instructions above to make such a request.
For materials not located in an FCS library, consult with your Airside Center librarian or contact the Interlibrary Loan office at the Lakeland campus during business hours at 297-1010, ext 6204.
Please note that interlibrary loan borrowers agree to follow the loan policies and procedures of the lending institution including the paying of late or lost item fees as well as procedures governing interlibrary loan at Polk State College.
There are 4 computers for student use located in the Airside Library, as well as a printer. There are no copier or scanning services, however.
A student-use computer lab with 30 computers and a printer is also available at Airside Center, located at ASL 118, when there is not a class scheduled for its use. Please report any problems with this room to Airside Library Services or to Airside Center Security Services.
